Making a deposit at Chancer

A deposit is the least reversible step in the whole chain. Once it leaves your account there is no cancel button, and everything that goes wrong afterwards has to be argued rather than undone. This page therefore skips the click-by-click walkthrough and looks at what is worth deciding, and recording, before the money moves. The wider picture sits on the payments overview.

Three questions before you confirm

Does the instrument belong to you? The player account and the card, bank account or wallet must name the same person. Paying in from a partner or a shared family account works fine on the way in and fails on the way out, at the least convenient possible moment.

Does the route work in reverse? Cashiers generally return money the way it arrived, so a one-way rail such as a prepaid voucher will force a detour later, with an extra instrument to verify. And finally: does this deposit attach to an offer? Accepting a bonus at the moment of payment means accepting a set of contractual conditions whose breach can void winnings later. The conditions themselves are covered under bonus terms; what matters here is capturing a screenshot of the wording you accepted on the day.

What to attach if a deposit goes missing

Missing deposits are usually unmatched rather than lost — the money left, but nothing connected it to your account. Support resolves that from identifiers, so the following items are what a report actually needs.

AttachmentWhat it provesWhere to get it
Bank or wallet transaction IDThat the debit happened and can be tracedTransaction detail in your banking app

Minimums in forint

As orientation only: around 2 000 Ft by card or instant bank transfer, 3 000 Ft for Skrill, Neteller and paysafecard, and roughly 5 000 Ft equivalent in crypto. Whatever the operator cashier displays at the time is the figure that governs, and it can differ by country and even by account.

One quirk causes disproportionate trouble: an amount below the threshold is not always rejected outright. On some rails it sits unmatched until somebody handles it manually, which is precisely why the amount and the timestamp are the two fields a support agent needs first.

The order of steps when nothing arrives

Check your own side first. If the debit is still pending at the bank or wallet, there is nothing to report yet. If it has settled, contact the operator with the transaction ID, the amount and the exact time, and ask for a ticket number in that first message so every later email can quote it.

Escalate on substance, not on impatience. Replies that contradict each other within days, or no replies at all, are the trigger to move into the formal complaints procedure described on the complaints page. Crypto sits in its own category: the transaction hash is the only evidence, and an amount sent on the wrong network is beyond anyone’s reach, including the operator’s.

What the cashier will not do for you

When depositing itself is the problem

If the frequency or the size of top-ups starts drifting away from whatever you planned, no payment method fixes that. Deposit limits, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion act faster than any correspondence — see responsible gambling and self-exclusion.
