Crypto payments at Chancer
Most crypto guides open with speed. This one opens with leverage, because that is what changes when a payment goes wrong on a blockchain. There is no issuing bank, no chargeback, and nobody who can reverse a transfer sent to the wrong place. What remains is the transaction hash and the cashier log — and that is worth knowing before anyone chooses a rail on the strength of confirmation times. Other options are on the payments overview.
Open the Chancer cashierIrreversibility, stated plainly
A confirmed transfer is final. Wrong address, wrong network, a chain the receiving side does not process — each of those ends the same way, and no complaints procedure retrieves the funds. The operator is equally powerless, because the money is not in its system; it is at an address to which nobody holds the key.
Three habits follow from that. Copy addresses, never retype them. Confirm the network twice, once in the sending wallet and once on the cashier screen. And send a small test amount before a large transfer — ten minutes that prevent the most expensive mistake available on this rail.
The hash is the case file
When a crypto deposit fails to appear, one item decides whether the report goes anywhere: the transaction hash. From it a block explorer shows the sending address, the receiving address, the amount, the timestamp and the confirmation count, publicly and independently of either party.
| Record | What it establishes | Where to find it |
|---|---|---|
| Transaction hash | That the transfer happened and where it went | Wallet history, block explorer |
| Screenshot of the address and network given | What the cashier asked for at that moment | The deposit screen |
| Confirmation count | That the network settled the transfer | Block explorer |
| Rate applied at crediting | Why the balance shows that figure | Financial history in the account |
| Support ticket number | When the report was filed | Email confirmation |
Two rates, one balance
The playing balance is denominated in forint while the coin is not, so one rate applies when funds are credited and a different one when they are withdrawn. Movement between those points is ordinary behaviour rather than an error, and it is not a basis for complaint. A dollar-pegged stablecoin narrows that swing without removing it, because the dollar itself still moves against the forint, while a volatile coin such as bitcoin does not narrow it at all.
When a received amount looks wrong, the first question is which rate was used, not who is at fault. Saving the rate at the moment of crediting turns that question into a factual one.
Pseudonymous, not anonymous
Crypto does not exempt anyone from verification. Identity checks before the first payout apply here too, usually 24 to 72 hours, and larger amounts can prompt questions about the source of funds — which exchange the money came from, for instance. The chain itself is public, so the trail exists; what is missing is a name attached to an address, not the record.
If such a request arrives, the rule is the same as elsewhere: ask in writing which document, for what purpose and on what legal basis, and provide only the relevant part. The escalation path is on the complaints page, and the contract behind it in the terms.
Reference figures
Crypto deposits typically start around 5 000 Ft equivalent, and the minimum withdrawal is 5 000 Ft. Network fees are paid to the chain rather than to the operator, and the sending wallet displays them before you confirm. As always, the cashier figure overrides these.
