Super Golden Dragon Inferno (Hold & Win) – 243 ways and one disputed number
Betsoft released this title in September 2023 as the sequel to Golden Dragon Inferno. Lobbies often list it together with the Hold & Win tag, because that tag appears on the promotional artwork – the official studio title is simply Super Golden Dragon Inferno. It is a good example of why published figures should be traced back to source: two different maximum-win numbers are in circulation.
The game on paper
The developer is Betsoft, built on five reels with 243 ways to win. Base RTP is 96.43%, with 94.03% and 92.10% builds also shipped. The studio rates volatility low to medium, and the base-game hit rate is 63.89% – an unusually high figure that explains why the game feels calm.
The maximum win on the Betsoft page is 2,916x. Several catalogues, meanwhile, print 2,196x. There is no point guessing which is right: in a dispute the studio sheet and the in-game paytable are what count, and second-hand summaries are not.
Feature rounds step by step
The Hold and Win round triggers on six or more scattered bonus symbols. The triggering symbols lock in place and stay locked together with any new bonus symbols that arrive during the feature, while three respins run. The top prize of the round is the Grand at 2000x.
Two more mechanics work in the base game. The Nudging Multiplier Wild Reel operates only on reel three: a partial wild stack nudges up or down to assemble a full wild reel. Random Wilds means that a random wild appearing in a winning combination drops an additional wild onto the reels. Stacked mystery symbols and a buy bonus complete the set.
Stakes and limits in forints
The stake ladder is set by the operator. A 243-way build typically opens higher than a classic line title, and the real steps are readable in the stake selector. On a forint balance a minimum in the hundreds and a maximum in the thousands is the usual band.
The practical weight of those numbers shows on big wins. At a 500 Ft stake the Grand is 1,000,000 Ft and the theoretical 2,916x maximum lands around 1,458,000 Ft. At that scale a payout is no longer only a matter of the game but also of the provider financial rules.
When a round breaks off
Hold and Win rounds are the most sensitive to lost connections, because locked symbols and remaining respins together form a state. The provider stores that state, so the only correct move is to reopen the same game. The round normally resumes exactly where it stopped.
If it neither resumes nor appears as settled in the history, there is a real fault. Do not start a new round in the meantime, as that scrambles the timestamps – contact support with the round identifier instead. Our support page summarises what such a report should carry.
Reading the game history
The feature round usually closes as one entry whose detail can be expanded: how many bonus symbols locked, what values they carried and which prize paid. On a large win that entry is the key document, because every later step of the payout refers back to it.
Four fields are needed in every case: the round identifier, the exact time, the stake placed and the amount credited. If the Grand fails to arrive, those fields are what secure a substantive investigation – a screenshot will not.
Where a claim on a single spin ends
Examinable: a feature round that never settled, a credited amount that does not match the prize recorded in the log, or a stake deducted twice. Also examinable: a payout that misses the provider own stated deadline. Not examinable: that six scatters never assembled – that falls to the random number generator, certified by an independent laboratory.
On a large win the route is identical but demands more patience: provider support first, in writing, with the identifier; if the answer is not substantive, the licensing authority or its dispute resolution body. Questions about the mathematics of the game belong to the developer. We break the steps down on our complaints page.
Demo play and real-money play
Demo makes the 63.89% hit rate tangible: many small wins, rare large spikes. That sets a realistic expectation before anyone starts chasing the Grand. What demo cannot show is the payout process for large wins or the structure of a log entry. After the first live feature round it is worth opening the detail.
