Cashback at Chancer

A loss rebate is the promotion players see the least of. You do not activate it, you do not calculate it, and the credit arrives from a settlement produced inside the operator's system. The consequence is that disputes here are almost never about entitlement — they are about the basis of the calculation.

What the calculation rests on

Cashback attaches to net loss over a defined settlement period, usually daily or weekly depending on the campaign. That opens three questions worth settling in advance: when the period opens and closes, what the rulebook counts as net loss, and which games drop out of the calculation entirely. The applicable rate is whatever the operator's cashier shows as current, and it can vary by campaign and by tier — which is why no figure is asserted here.

Keep this separate from a rebate paid on betting volume regardless of outcome. The two often run side by side and look alike in the account, but their bases differ, so in any exchange name precisely which one you mean.

What falls outside the calculation

If the credit looks short

  1. Check in the account which period the credit covers, and screenshot it.
  2. Request the itemised settlement in writing: what base, what loss figure, what rate.
  3. Ask which bets were excluded from the calculation and under which clause.
  4. If the reply is generic, ask for it to be logged as a complaint with a case number and a deadline.
  5. Once the internal stage is exhausted, approach the regulator of the licensing jurisdiction.

This is where most people give up, although asking for an itemised settlement is an entirely proper request. What to attach and how the process unfolds is set out in the complaints guide. For a Hungarian licence the SZTFH register is the reference point; an operator absent from it falls outside that authority's individual dispute handling.

What obligation comes with the credit

Rebates rarely arrive as unrestricted cash. Most campaigns attach light wagering, and with it the bonus stake ceiling comes back into force. Check that on the day of the credit, because it is easy to treat a restricted balance as cash and close it accidentally with a withdrawal request. The clause structure is unpacked under bonus terms, and completion evidence under the wagering obligation.

The one thing never to do for it

Never raise stakes to earn a bigger rebate. The mechanism returns part of what you lost, so a larger rebate is by definition a larger loss. If you ever notice the promotional cycle setting the pace instead of your own budget, the issue is not the promotion — the deposit limits under responsible gambling and the self-exclusion tools exist for precisely that moment.

Why the settlement period is worth pinning down

Two accounts can receive different credits for what feels like the same week, simply because the settlement window starts and ends at a particular hour in a particular time zone. Sessions that straddle the boundary land in different periods, and a loss that felt continuous is settled in two halves — each measured against its own threshold and its own cap.

That is not an irregularity, but it is a reason to note when your play actually took place. If you intend to query a credit, the timestamps of your sessions and the period stated on the credit are the two facts the conversation will turn on.
